Queen of Teen

Queen of Teen was founded in 2008 to award teen and tween authors. In the first ceremony Louise Renninson was crowned Queen of Teen for her Confessions of Georgia Nicolson books. The short-listed authors arrived in pink limousines. They had tasty cupcakes, pink lemonade and many other delicious treats. For an author to win the thousands of teens online have to vote for her on the Queen of Teen website. Other nominated authors were Jacqueline Wilson, author of Tracy Beaker, Candy Floss, My Sister Jodie, Double Act, and others; Meg Cabot, author of The Mediator series and best-selling author of The Princess Diaries; Cathy Cassidy author of Dizzy, Letters to Cathy, Indigo Blue, and many other favorites.
