Cancer-causing toxic dyes that were banned in 2006 were found in some clothing items that were made in China. The municipal bereau of commece and industry in Beijing reported that 65 clothings brands failed to meet quality standards. Some of the clothing items were from famous brands like Baoxinali and Jeanswest. The cancer-causing dye can not be washed out and is easily absorbed by the skin. All the clothes that were found to be harmful were withdrawed from stores.
